Marc Jacobs really ended the New York Fashion Week with a bang! The top designer showed his collection with women who were makeup-free at the Lexington Armory on 66^th Street.

The vibe of the whole show was said to be towards militaristic. The makeup artist who spilled the beans from the backstage was renowned Francois Nars. He added that the collection was all neutral colors ranging from beige to camels to khakis.

Nars also revealed what was going on at the crazy backstage. The backstage of any of the shows of Jacobs are always tightly controlled and no media is allowed most of the time.

However, Nars dished lots of juicy details saying that aside from the military-ish clothes line, Jacobs also launches his latest scent called 'Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream'.

Jacobs' show included Kendall Jenner and she was not an exemption to the no makeup ramp. The show started on the dot at 6 PM. Nars said that they are not going to apply any makeup, as in not even a gram of makeup. But they still applied moisturizing lotion and nothing more, nothing less.

Nars also talked about why he and Jacobs wanted to come up with such a catwalk. He said that he and Jacobs are really very extreme. They would either go for a really crazy and wild look but sometimes they do the total opposite. This definitely was the talk of the NYFW.

Nars noted that the no makeup ram makes more of a statement to send the models completely bare. Plus, Nars noted, he wants to see a girl with no makeup at all.

Aside from Jacobs, Nars also worked backstage for the models of the lines launched by Rodarte, Alexander Wang, and Thakoon.

It has been a really big year for Nars because aside from being part of another successful NYFW, he also introduced the Audacious Lipstick collection with 40 hues. The names were brilliantly named from notable stars such as Rita, Audrey and Gretta.
