'Street Fighter 5': First DLC Details Features Classic 'Street Fighter' Outfits; What Do We Know So Far?

According to VG 24/7, Capcom will likely reveal new DLCs for "Street Fighter 5" as the website stated Capcom will bring back the "classic" looks of their beloved Street Fighter characters within the game.

Matt Dahlgreen, director of marketing and eSports, confirmed that Capcom will be featuring these classic looks anytime soon when the "Street Fighter 5" will be released in market in 2016, Event Hubs reported.

Dahlgreen further adds that player's can switch in the retro costumes of character or even add more alternative outfits within the game, similar to that of "Street Fighter 4."

Gamerant noted that some gaming fans were not pleased about certain character appearances in "Street Fighter 5" particularly Ken Masters.

GamingBolt previously reported that Capcom unveiled the new gameplay trailer featuring Ken during their panel presentation in the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con.


Ken's new look in "Street Fighter 5" consist of having black gloves, a black under armor shirt with red linings and longer hair with a pony tail.

Polygon reported that Ken's moves within the game will be flashier than ever as seen in the gameplay trailer that he is more in line in creating combos for his standard move, rather knocking them out quickly like Ryu. Capcom adds that Ken is more of an "in your face" character as well as a "bit stylish" to further differentiate him from his best friend Ryu.

Dahlgreen commented that if player's prefer the "classic" Ken look, then they can do so when the costume DLC is out.

It was previously reported that four charactersd were rumored to join the game such as Karen Kanzaki, Urien, R. Mika and Alex, while "Street Fighter" creator Yoshinori Ono teased fans of having Blanka join the roster since a new stage set in Brazil has been revealed.

Capcom also revealed features on the PS4 beta test in "Street Fighter 5" which includes six playable characters, a tutorial mode and three stages.

"Street Fighter 5" will tentatively set to launch on March 2016 for the PS4 and PC platforms.
