Hiding in the shadow of Xiaomi's success sits another Apple-cloner, Meizu.
The upcoming Meizu M1 Note Mini is said to rival the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 2.
According to reports, the Meizu phone visited the GFXBench benchmark testing site where the handset's key specs and features were revealed. It's said to sport a 4.7-inch glass display with 768 x 1280 pixels.

The Meizu M1 Note Mini will also have a quad-core MediaTek MT6732 Cortex A53-ARMv7 processor at 1.5 GHz under the hood. It will be paired with an ARM Mali-T760 GPU with 1 GB of RAM. The smartphone will run on Anroid 4.4.4 KitKat instead of the Android 5.0 Lollipop.
It's said to have 8 GB of in-built memory and will be available in orange, red and purple. The M1 Note Mini will feature a 12 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, HDR, autofocus, touch focus and face detection. The front camera will have 4.8 megapixels. It's a single-SIM handset with no NFC support. According to reports, the Meizu M1 Note Mini will cost about $112.
Xiaomi and other brands from China have been fiercely battling Samsung since 2013. Samsung's stocks have fallen by 15 percent because investors weren't comfortable with the company's sales decline. Samsung failed to reach its Q3 profit because 60 percent of its sales come from mobile phones.
Analysts are second guessing the competition between Apple and Samsung because of Xiaomi and Meizu. Xiaomi is said to be copying Apple's presentation and design.
Apple's design chief Jony Ive told Vanity Fair Tech Apple doesn't see the copying as flattery. Apple spent seven or eight years working on its products and then it gets copied. Ive added that the copying is theft and laziness.
Xiaomi continues to be successful, selling-out 100,000 Redmi 1s within several minutes of holding a flash sale on Flipkart.
Weibo also leaked the Redmi Note 2 specs and the back panel pictures show the handset may be around 159 x 82 mm. Reports also say the specs include a 5.5-inch display, 64-bit Snapdragon 615 SoC, 26 GB RAM and a 13 megapixel camera.
