A Chinese newspaper has accused Western media of sensationalizing the gaffe during U.S. President Barack Obama's tumultuous arrival for the G20 Summit in China.
There were chaotic and embarrassing scenes at the Hangzhou International Airport on Saturday as Obama touched down for his last meeting as President with his Chinese Counterpart Xi Jinping.

Officials from the two superpowers hurled angry words at each other, with one local officer castigating a White House official during the altercation, and shouting ' This is our country! This is our airport! '
The Global Times, a state-controlled Communist paper, offered its insight on the incident, saying that western media had overblown the incident, but President Obama tried to play it down.
"This makes us believe that the tense atmosphere between China and the United States can be partly attributed to the Western media, which often makes a fuss over trifling issues," the paper said in an editorial.
The newspaper stated that the incident would not further strain the relations between the two countries, as Obama would not want to see more undercurrents in Sino-US ties before he leaves office.
Sheng Deng Li, an international relations expert at the Fudan University in Shanghai, told the media that the United States should have an idea of what they did to anger Beijing.
There are speculations that Beijing made a calculated snub of President Obama, a claim that has been refuted by an anonymous source in the Chinese government. Unlike other leaders, Obama did not disembark onto a red-carpet lined staircase.
Obama tried to downplay the incident, saying that it was probable that his Chinese hosts had been overwhelmed by the size of his delegation.
