Liaoning snapped their three-game winless skid last Saturday with a 2-0 win over reeling team Hangzhou Greentown at the Tiexi New District Sports Center, as per Soccerway.

After a goalless first half of play, Zambian striker James Chamanga broke the deadlock three minutes after the restart off an assist from his forward partner Anthony Ujah.

Head coach Ma Lin's side then doubled the lead at the 77th minute, this time with a goal from Ujah with the assist coming from Congolese defender Assani Lukimya.

It was only the second win for Liaoning in their last seven matches, which settled them at the 11th spot of the current league table, nine points above the bottom two relegation zone with seven games left in their campaign this season.

Meanwhile, Beijing Guoan was able to hold powerhouse team Shanghai SIPG to a 2-2 draw despite Brazilian forward Hulk available in the match after coming back from his injury, Xinhuanet reported.

Hulk netted the opening goal at the 51st minute from a pass by Elkeson, but Beijing striker Burak Yilmaz equalized the count with a penalty kick at the 68th.

The Imperial Guards then took the lead, 2-1, at the 82nd with a header from defender Lei Tenglong before Hulk scored his second goal of the match with his own spot kick right at the stroke of full time to salvage the draw.

Guoan is now at 10th place in the overall standings after falling to their fourth consecutive winless performance. They are now tied on points with Liaoning but has a superior goal difference of +1 compared to the latter's -5.
