Microsoft announced it will push through with phasing-out the Nokia name in its mobile products.
Leaked internal document cited on tech website Geek on Gadgets said upcoming Nokia Lumia devices will soon be branded as just Lumia.
It also stated Microsoft plans to kill the Windows Phone brand by next year and refer to everything as "Windows."

This isn't surprising news since Stephen Elop, former Nokia CEO, said in April they don't see the Nokia name lasting long at Microsoft.
"Nokia as a brand will not be used for long going forward for smartphones. Work is underway to select the go-forward smartphone brand," Elop said in a Q&A on Microsoft Mobile's Conversations blog.
The document also disclosed that Microsoft will use the standard Windows logo on devices in promotions and advertisements.
Sources said this is part of the gradual phase out of the Windows Phone name (and OS) that will merge with the desktop version of Windows. There will be no Windows Phone 9 in upcoming updates.
Microsoft has not yet confirmed the leaked document.
