Lenovo’s First Commercial Project Tango Phone Lenovo Phab 2 Pro Will be Delayed

Chinese smartphone maker Lenovo has announced that its latest device - the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro smartphone - will be delayed until this coming holiday season.

According to the Manager of Global Tablet Marketing Communications of Lenovo, Herman Cheng, the Phab 2 Pro smartphone will be available in stores this coming holiday season. The device will be priced at around $500 (approximately Rs. 33,459.97 / 3338.55 Yuan).

The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro smartphone was officially unveiled in June this year. The company was scheduled to launch the device this summer, but this has been postponed.

When it is eventually released, the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro smartphone may not be available in Australia since the company is focusing on other markets in Asia Pacific region, Phone Arena reported. However, Lenovo's devices are available in several Asian countries including Hong Kong, India, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Myanmar, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is capable of displaying areas in 3D and can capture over 250,000 measurements per seconds. The smartphone comes with a 6.4-inch Quad HD display screen. The device is powered by Snapdragon 652 processor which was optimized for Tango applications.

The smartphone is fueled by a 4,050 mAh capacity battery onboard and supports 2.4 turbo charging technology. It comes equipped with a built-in 64GB internal memory storage and 4GB of RAM. The device has a 16-megapixels main camera and an 8-megapixels front facing camera.
