Samsung Releases First TD-LTE Smart Phone in Mainland China

August 28th, Samsung Electronics released the company's first TD-LTE smart phone model in Mainland China. It is known the new 4G smart phone has have passed the tests of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in China. So far, the smart phone models are also the first group of 4G mobile phones sold by China Mobile Ltd.

The model of Samsung's first TD-LTE smart phone is GALAXY Note II N7108D, which is capable of supporting the multi-mode of TD-LTE/LTE FDD/WCDMA/TD-SCDMA/GSM at the same time. Besides, under the TD-LTE mode, GALAXY Note II N7108D can support "Single SIM Dual Standby".
As for the specifications of GALAXY Note II N7108D, the smart phone runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with a 5.5-inch HD smartphone screen, a 1.9 GHz quad-core processor, an 8 megapixels camera resolution in the rear and a 1.9 megapixels camera resolution in the front, and the battery capacity designed for GALAXY Note II N7108D is 3100mAh.
Before Samsung reveals its first TD-LTE smart phone in China, early in June 2013, Sony has announced its first TD-LTE device "Xperia SP M35t" in Mainland China.
According to insiders, with the support from domestic and international momentous mobile phone manufacturers, it will promote the development of the TD-LTE terminal industry to a great extent.
