Chinese tech giant OnePlus has started rolling out an OxygenOS 3.2.6 OTA update on its latest device - the OnePlus 3 smartphone. This firmware update will deliver a couple of optimizations and bug fixes for all OnePlus 3 smartphone owners.

According to OnePlus, this latest firmware is a major update to the previously released OxygenOS 3.5.2. The company has also emphasized that this update will address lots of issues reported by OnePlus 3 owners. Aside from that, the OxygenOS 3.2.6 update should also improve the performance of many features of the smartphone.

The OxygenOS 3.2.6 OTA update has several changelog such as optimizing the voice call quality of some IM applications and white balance, improving the camera quality and 1080 video recording, fixing occasional green/yellow issue, addressing some bluetooth connection problems for vehicles as well as boosting the touch accuracy when playing games.

In addition, the OxygenOS 3.2.6 OTA update is also set to improve the smartphone's adaptive brightness performance, enhance battery consumption when scrolling, allow third party application to modify ringtone, an added PocketMode switch in the Display settings, and an added DozeMode switch in the Developer options.

In the meantime, when updating the OnePlus 3 smartphone firmware, there are some issues that users should know before applying the latest update. Take note that this update will roll back the community build to MP builds and will now require clean flash. Likewise, rooted OnePlus 3 devices, or those using custom recovery, may face an installation issues upon the process. Accordingly, the only way to solve these issues is to unroot the smartphone and use official recovery.
