The actor, who recently withdrew from the lead role in 'Cheung Po Tsai', plays twin brothers Chong Kai Cho and Chong Kai Chung who are supposedly from a traditional political clan. The elder twin, Chong Kai Cho is the deputy mayor of Foshan and is engaged to Linda Chung's character, To Kai Kei. In the story, Kai Cho will die after ingesting contaminated medicine.

On the other hand, Kai Cho's twin brother, Kai Chung, is a student who later returns to his hometown Foshan from Japan after his brother's death.

Raymond shared that his character Kai Chung wasn't sure about his feelings for Kai Kei, trying to figure out whether he was protecting her because she was his brother's wife or if he was really in love with her. Because he considers the moral ethics during the early Republican era, the character doesn't try to pursue what he was feeling for Kai Kei.

According to the actor, it wasn't very difficult for him to portray two characters in the same story as Kai Cho and Kai Chung both have very different personalities. Raymond said that it was relatively easy to get into character because of that.

He described Kai Cho as calm and perceptive while Kai Chung was the opposite, behaving rashly. The latter is said to be very idealistic on his ideas regarding justice and does not bow to coercion.

"All That is Bitter is Sweet' revolves around the story of To Kai Kei who becomes the very first female physician and pharmacist during the Republican era.

Ruco Chan is also featured in the drama, playing the male lead opposite Linda Chung.
