Liaoning Whowin FC ended their two-game losing streak with an emphatic 3-0 win over Yanbian Funde FC at the Tiexi New District Sports Center in Shenyang on Saturday.

Liaoning Whowin was low in morale and coming off two-straight losses to Beijing Guoan and Guangzhou Evergrande before their face off with Yanbian Funde. However, head coach Ma Lin's side was able to overcome their brief bad spell by crushing last season's China League One champions.

Nigerian striker Anthony Ujah was the man of the match for Liaoning as he scored a brace and handed one assist against Yanbian.

Zambian forward James Chamanga drew first blood in the 13th minute with a stunning strike from outside the penalty box from a fine cross from Ujah to give the hosts an early lead in the contest.

It was Ujah's turn to score as he converted a pass from Australian winger Dario Vidosic during the first half injury time to bury his first goal of the game. The shot gave Whowin a two-point lead at the half time break.

The second half almost ended with both teams scoreless, but Ujah unleashed his second goal with two minutes left before full time as he directed midfielder Yang Yu's cross towards the back of Yanbian goalkeeper Chi Wenyi's net.

The win was Liaoning's second in four matches to help them climb to the ninth spot of the league table with only four games left in the team's campaign this season. Whowin now has 32 points, eight points above the bottom three relegation zone.

Meanwhile, the loss put Yanbian in a two-game losing slide of their own. It was also their fourth defeat in their last five games.
