Vivo Y55 4G Smartphone Spotted on TENAA Featuring Metal Body and 2GB RAM

An upcoming Vivo smartphone has been spotted on the website of China's telecommunication certification authority (TENAA) dubbed as the Vivo Y55 4G. The smartphone features a metallic body structure and a huge 2GB of RAM onboard.
As per TENAA listing, there are three variants of the Vivo Y55 smartphone; the Vivo Y55, Vivo Y55L, and Vivo Y55N. According to Phone Radar, all these three devices come with the same specifications, but the Vivo Y55L and Y55N smartphone would be sold exclusively with Chinese network carriers. While the Vivo Y55 smartphone will support all the network providers in China.

The Vivo Y55 smartphone features a 5.2-inch TFT HD (1280 x 720 pixels resolution) display screen. Under the hood, the device is powered by an unknown octa-core processor clocked at a speed of 1.4GHz. It comes with 2GB of RAM onboard and a built-in 16GB internal memory storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.
On the camera side, the Vivo Y55 sports an 8-megapixels primary camera with LED flash support and a 5-megapixels front facing camera. The device is fueled by a non-removable 2,650mAh capacity battery. It comes with an all metallic body appearance made from a polycarbonate material. In addition, the smartphone supports dual SIM with a hybrid SIM slot.
The connectivity options of the device include Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro USB 2.0 port. The smartphone measures a body dimension of 147.9 x 72.9 x 7.5 mm and weighs around 142 grams. The Vivo Y55 will be available in gold, rose gold, and gray color.
