Hideo Kojima, the creator of Metal Gear Solid, released some new footage of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain during a special Kojima Station video broadcast on Thursday.
The new footage of the game highlights the character of Quiet who is the controversial female character in the game. The gameplay video lasted less than a minute.

On Twitter, Kojima said sorry for how short the teaser was. He told Metal Gear Solid fans that they can look forward to the Tokyo Game Show to know more about the game.
Tokyo Game Show will run from September 18 to 21.
The character of Quiet is quarrelsome in the game. Kojima responded on the criticisms about her appearance.
"What I'm really trying to do is create unique characters. One of those is, of course, Quiet. She's a really unique character. I wanted to add that sexiness to her. It wasn't really supposed to be erotic, but sexy," Kojima said back in September 2013.
The open-world game The Phantom Pain will be available on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One but without a definite release date.
Kojima also hinted on a "Metal Gear Collection 2014" that could possibly feature new collections for the Metal Gear series of games, although there are not supporting details available.
