Two-time NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer has reportedly turned down the invitation of San Antonio Spurs' General Manager R.C. Buford to audition and workout for the five-time NBA champion team.
According to News 4 San Antonio, the 34-year-old professional basketball player rejected the suggestion of Buford, who was a two-time winner of the NBA Executive of the Year Award, to join the Spurs in a minicamp and the summer league team in two different occasions.

"Then he was going to come for a piece of our summer league, but then he said, 'Nah, I'm not going to do that, either,'" Buford revealed. "So we moved on. How can we evaluate him if he's not playing?"
Boozer ended up signing with the Chinese Basketball Association team Guangdong Southern Tigers on July of this year.
The Aschaffenburg, West Germany-born American last played for the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2014-15 season of the NBA. Boozer played a total of 71 official games with the Kobe Bryant-led team while averaging 11.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 23.8 minutes of playing time per contest.
The 6-foot-9-inch tall power forward also posted impressive stats during his stint with the Chicago Bulls for four seasons. Boozer played for 280 games with the Bulls from 2010 to 2014. He recorded then an average of 13.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists in his final season with the team before he was released via the amnesty clause, and he later on played with the Lakers.
