Star China's Sing! China enjoyed a record-breaking first season, topping the ratings for seven weeks and amassing over 37 billion video views, according to Star.
The figures released on Wednesday revealed that Star China took more than 30 percent of the National Market share, which is over five times the second place show in the same time slot, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Sing! China, which is a rebranded version of The Voice of China, is a reality television singing competition that searches for the next big singing sensation in China. The show has four judges who race with each other to persuade the contestants they desire to join their team.
The show's final takes place this coming Friday at the Beijing National Stadium. Furthermore, Star China will be selling the Sing! China format to buyers at MIPCOM, the international TV market, between October 17 and 20 in Cannes, the Deadline reported.
Star China used to produce The Voice of China in partnership with Talpa Global, the Dutch producer that owns the rights of the competition's format and famous turning chairs.
However, their relationship turned sour earlier this year as the two companies cannot seem to agree about license fees and terms.
On the one hand, Star China accused China of asking extremely high price for its fifth season, prompting it to make its own version of the show. And on the other, Talpa sad it owned the copyright and deemed Star China responsible for declining to pay a reasonable fee despite the show's popularity.
