The latest NBA trade rumors have speculated that New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers could be negotiating a deal that would send Kristaps Porzingis to LA in exchange for All-Star Blake Griffin.
The Clippers power forward has been mentioned in a lot of NBA trade rumors since the end of last season, and these have gained more ground when Clippers head coach Doc Rivers admitted in an interview last month that he is ready to trade one or two of his team's Big Three.

Composed of Griffin, Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan, the theories have claimed that the swap will happen if the team will not perform well in the upcoming regular season. The trade is expected to materialize before next year's February deadline.
Of the three, Griffin is said to be the most expendable as Paul is considered as the team's franchise player, while Jordan is a stable force at the center spot.
Another issue about Griffin is his expiring contract, according to Inquisitr.
The former Oklahoma Sooners standout is entering the fourth year of his five-year, $94.5 million deal with the Clips and so he can choose to opt out of it next summer and become an unrestricted free agent.
Speculations abound that Griffin wants to join a championship contender after years of playoffs frustrations and so LA is at risk of losing him for nothing in next year's free-agency. Thus, trading him now would make sense to maximize what the Clippers could get in return.
Sportsrageous reported that a trade with the Knicks could be brewing as New York is keen on forming their own Big Three with Derrick Rose and Carmelo Anthony.
Rumors suggest that LA may ask super sophomore Porzingis and veteran center Joakim Noah in exchange for the five-time NBA All-Star.
It is unlikely that the Knicks would approve such a deal since Porzingis is being groomed as the future of the franchise. However, New York has no other viable trade assets besides the Latvian sensation other than veterans Rose, Anthony, and Noah.
The trade would also be too risky for the Knicks since they have no way of knowing whether Griffin will stay with them after he opts to become a free agent next summer.
Keep posted for more NBA trade rumors and updates.
