Game developer Rockstar Games announced Friday the launch of "Grand Theft Auto V" on Nov. 18 on the newest generation game consoles by Microsoft and Sony.
PC gamers, on the other hand, will have to wait until Jan. 27, 2015 for their version of the game.
To compensate for the long wait, Rockstar said the PC, PlayStation and Xbox One versions of the game would have "a range of major visual and technical upgrades to make Los Santos and Blaine County more immersive than ever."

"In addition to increased draw distances and higher resolution, players can expect a range of additions and improvements," the game developer said.
The extra content in the new versions will include new vehicles, activities and weapons, as well as denser traffic, a new foliage system, additional wildlife and enhanced weather and damage effects.
"Grand Theft Auto V' for the PS4 and Xbox One will also feature enhanced radio selections with over a hundred DJ mixes and new tracks across the game's 17 stations.
The gamers who pre-order the game will also receive US$1 million of in-game funds to blow on "GTA Online" and "GTA V."
The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, which were released Sept. 17, 2013, will also receive new content. The bonus material will include new weapons, shooting range challenges, wildlife photography activities, and vehicles that were present in the previous "GTA" games, such as the Dodo Seaplane, Dukes and a faster Blimp.
Existing "GTA Online" characters and progress can also be transferred by players to the new versions of the game.
Within 24 hours of its release on the PS3 and Xbox 360, 11.21 million copies of "Grand Theft Auto V" were sold, equating to US$800 million in global revenue.
As of Oct. 8 last year, the title broke seven world records, including highest grossing video game in 24 hours, fastest entertainment property to gross US$1 billion and fastest video game to gross US$1 billion.
