Orlando Bloom has rescued an injured dog he found abandoned in the streets of Shanghai, China, where he is filming his upcoming film Smart Chase: Fire & Earth.
The heartthrob Legolas saw the dog abandoned with a bloody wound on its back, the Yahoo News reported. He decided to bring the pooch back to safety.

Documenting the whole rescue and posting them on his social media account, Bloom first shared a photo of the dog sniffing on its wound, with caption "This lil girl."
He then brought the dog to a local vet, where he never left the side of the pooch. He even helped in shaving, bathing, and making sure the temperature was turned down when it was too hot, according to The Huffington Post.
Furthermore, the Hollywood actor reportedly comforted the dog the whole time, calling her "good girl" while the vets were carrying out their tasks.
Then after the dog was cleaned and tended, she was given a cone to prevent her from licking the wound and was captured getting the much needed rest.
However, it is unclear if Bloom will adopt the dog and give his furry best pal Sidi a playmate, the E News noted.
Meanwhile, Bloom's girlfriend Katy Perry is set to perform in China next month for a concert sponsored by Alibaba's online shopping platform T-mall.
The Roar hitmaker will perform at a gala event to kick off Alibaba Group's 11.11 Global Shopping Festival in Shenzhen on the night of Nov. 10. She is also expected to singer her latest single Rise in the studded celebration called 11.11 Countdown Gala Celebration.
"I am so excited to be the ambassador for the Tmall Double 11 Festival. Very exciting! I would like to invite you to the show on 10 November in Shenzhen. For those who can't make it, you can watch it on Zhejiang TV," the singer said in a video interview.
