Top seed Sabine Lisicki rallied from a first-set deficit to defeat Karolina Pliskova and win the crown at Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open at the Victoria Park Tennis Stadium in Hong Kong on Sunday.
The two have met at the recent Wimbledon Championships where Lisicki defeated Plliskova in the second round and have advanced up to the quarter-finals where she lost to Romanian Simona Halep.

Third seed Pliskova jumped into an early lead breaking the German twice to take a 5-1 in the first set advantage but Lisicki came back, fighting for every point and slowly made her way to a 5-all deadlock.
The world ranked 31 Lisicki went on to win six straight points to capture the set at 7-5.
The momentum is at Lisicki's side in the second set as she broke the Czech to take a 4-2 lead but Pliskova had other things in mind as she broke back Lisicki's serve after double-faulting for the seventh time in the match.
The 24-year-old Lisicki however broke Pliskova again and served for the match to win it at 7-5 6-3.
Canadian star Eugenie Bouchard and U.S. Open semi-finalist Peng Shuai of China pulled out of the competition days before the tournament started and Lisicki accepted a wild card entry.
"I'm very happy," Lisicki said. "Especially because it was such a spontaneous decision. We literally decided three or four days before the tournament started."
"I really enjoyed it here in Hong Kong and I think that's the reason I played so well," added Lisicki.
This is Lisicki's first title after almost three years and with the best performance of appearing at the Wimbledon finals in 2013 against former champion Marion Bartoli of France.
Both Lisicki and Pliskova will be heading to Tokyo for another stint at a series of Asian tournaments including the Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships to be held later September.
