Huawei is scheduled to confirm the actual specs of the Mate 9 on Nov. 3. However, this did not deter fans from speculating what Huawei's latest teaser means. Although the actual battery pack of the Mate 9 is still unknown, many agree that Huawei is referring to a new quick charging technology when it highlighted the phone's battery life. Some speculate that it might be a new battery saving feature.
The Huawei Mate 9 is expected to have a Kirin 960 chipset with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.6GHz. The phone is expected to be available in 4GB, 6GB, and 128GB variants in terms of memory, and 64GB and 128GB for storage space.
The Huawei Mate 9 smartphone would sport a 20-megapixel rear facing camera on dual configuration with an 8-megapixel front facing selfie snapper. The Mate 9 is expected to run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system right out of the box.
