Bombardier Commercial Aircraft has launched its CS300 jetliner, the second CS300 flight test vehicle, in Zhuhai, China.

The arrival reportedly marks C Series aircraft's debut in China. The jetliner, which sports the logo of CS300 first operator airBaltic, will be on static display at the China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China) between Oct. 30 and Nov. 3, the Skies Mag reported.

"As we approach first delivery and entry-into-service of the CS300 aircraft with launch operator airBaltic in the coming weeks, it is a pleasure to be showcasing the aircraft in China for the first time and updating the industry on our progress," Andy Solem, vice president, sales - China and North Asia, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft, said.

He further added that C Series aircraft has exceptional fuel burn and range, good airfield performance especially in hot and high operations, and is so far the quietest commercial jet yet. It is used in a regional role, making it ideal to cater China's goal to make cheap and environment-friendly air travel accessible to all its netizens.

Solem said that Bombardier targets to deliver its first C Series in the country by 2018, the Flight Global noted. Furthermore, cards have been laid out on the table, with proposals from several major Chinese operators including Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, and Hainan Airlines.

Meanwhile, when the Flight Global asked if Bombardier is possibly in talks with a potential Chinese investor on its C Series, Solem answered: "We try and decided who our best partners can be, how we can advance our position in the market, and we're always in talks with different parties to see how we can cooperate better."
