A wild three-way scenario between the Washington Wizards, Philadelphia 76ers, and Phoenix Suns has emerged with John Wall, Jahlil Okafor, and Brandon Knight all switching teams.

Wall has been the subject of trade rumors since the end of last season, especially after the Wizards granted his backcourt partner Bradley Beal a five-year, $127.1 million contract extension.

The two were allegedly not seeing eye-to-eye both on and off the court as a result, and Wall felt that he deserved to be the team's highest-paid player. At the moment, Wall is in the third year of his five-year, $84.7 deal with the Wizards.

Wall reportedly felt "disrespected" but was keen that everything is okay between him and Beal and that he is only concerned about how much he is earning and not other people's salaries.

Recently, he told reporters that he and Beal are only great because of each other, saying that they make one another better when playing together.

"Not everybody's going to have a perfect relationship with every great player on their team," Wall said according to Sports Illustrated. "But when I step between those lines and I'm with my team, we're a brotherhood."

The Inquisitr reported that if things do not get better, the Wizards could include Wall in a three-team deal with the Sixers and Suns with Washington getting both Jahlil Okafor and Brandon Knight in return.

Wall goes to the Sixers and gives them the All-Star point guard they desperately need while the Suns receive two future first-round draft picks as compensation.

While the trade looks invalid with Phoenix not getting any player in return for letting go of Knight, ESPN's NBA Trade Machine has approved the deal, meaning it is a legitimate transaction under league rules.

The Suns are also rumored to be looking to unload Knight from their overcrowded backcourt that also has Eric Bledsoe and Devin Booker. The team is said to be unprepared to pay $12.6 million a year for a backup point guard and so they are shopping Knight to interested clubs.
