Australian rap artist Iggy Azalea's legal representatives threatens Vivid Entertainment's chief through a letter which states that the musician's name 'Iggy' is protected by trademark.
The 24-year old rap artist's lawyers has taken to the offensive by sending a legal letter to Vivid Entertainment, saying that her name is trademarked after said company allegedly claimed to be in possession of a sex tape featuring the musician.

Iggy's legal representatives denied the claims of said company, but sources later told a media outlet that the tape is in existence, but they could not release it before as she had been underage when it was shot.
Meanwhile, a media outlet stated that the video could be real and that it could have been shot with her former boyfriend. Her legal team added that the video might also have been shot without her knowledge or consent as she was a minor at that time.
However, there seems to be a change of wind with her legal advisors saying that there couldn't be a possibility that Iggy was in the footage, and threatened to sue Vivid Entertainment if her name comes up with the release of said video.
The legal team also stated that the culprit behind the tape must be a business suitor believed to be her former lover who is trying to damage her image for revenge.
On previous reports, the CEO of Vivid Entertainment, Steve Hirsch is said to be offering Iggy a seven-figure pay for said tape, but through Twitter, she denied that she has a sex tape and slammed the CEO.
"Anyone who releases or attempts to make profit off someone else's intimate moments against their will is a sex offender," says the rap artist on her tweet.
Meanwhile, hip hop artist Jefe Wine has come forward to admit that he was the man in the sex tape and stated that Iggy has been over 18 years old when the tape was shot and that she was aware of it.
Wine has also stated that her lawyers are just trying to block the release of said footage. He also denied that he sold the tape to the company and claimed that his computer has been stolen some months ago.
Despite this, Wine claims to be still friends with the rap artist and says he will be releasing a single that would feature her.
