"Big Bang Theory" star Mayim Bialik criticizes Ariana Grande's sexy lingerie billboard in downtown LA through a blog post, questioning the singer's need to sell herself if she had talent.
Bialik, a mother to two young boys, expressed her views in a long blog post on Kveller.com entitled "The Problem with that Giant Billboard of Ariana Grande".

The actress was apparently not pleased that today's advertisements have to showcase or insinuate sexuality, citing Ariana Grande's billboard which shows her in lingerie.
In the blog post, the Bialik described herself as a 'bleeding heart liberal without exception' and an 'old-fashioned' woman, later admitting that she has recently been encountering billboards that she didn't approve of, in particular the one that features Grande.
Bialik admitted that she did not have any idea what the 'problem' singer does, openly wondering whether Grande sells lingerie, sells stilettos or advertises plastic surgery.
"Why is she in her underwear on this billboard though? And if she has a talent, [Is she a singer?], then why does she have to sell herself in lingerie?" wrote Bialik in her blog.
Bialik also mentioned that she is aware of society's patriarchal leanings, which invariably expect women to be sexy and sexually available, adding, "But I guess now I need to explain that to my sons?"
The actress also criticized some ads she'd seen from the "Master of Sex" advertisements, as well as photos the fashion industry uses to promote their campaigns.
She pointed out how women had to pose almost naked in high-fashion magazines and also cited an ad by Levi's jeans where a male and female model were undressing each other, saying that she doesn't want her sons to see such things.
Although Bialik's views may not be acceptable to many, the actress stands pat on her traditional values and intends to continue living her life and raising her children that way.
