A poll conducted in China has revealed that people believe that the 2016 Democratic and Republican presidential nominees will be better than the current President of the United States in handling the relations between both nations.
The poll, which was published this week, showed that the respondents believe that both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump would be more effective than President Barack Obama in handling conflicts between China and the United States.

The poll, which was released by Hong Kong-based newspaper South China Morning Post, reported that 76 percent of Asians would vote for Hillary Clinton.
The survey, which was conducted by polling firm Blackbox Research, reveals that Chinese people are more optimistic about the future of the relations between China and the United States.
This optimism exists despite regular disputes between the two countries over the militarization of the South China Sea.
About 36 percent of the 1500 people surveyed in first and second tier cities of China described the existing relations between China and the United States as "excellent."
This was in contrast to the people surveyed in other countries such as South Korea, where only five percent described relations with the US "good."
Over fifty percent of the people polled in China were of the opinion that Trump would be better than Obama at managing disputes in the South China Sea.
Around 51 percent are of the opinion that the businessman would interfere less in Asia after the controversial shift of focus by Obama.
The respondents rated Hillary Clinton higher on issues such as human rights protection and intellectual property.
About 52 percent of the Chinese respondent expressed believe that Clinton is the best candidate to strengthen relations between the two countries. Meanwhile, 48 percent are of the opinion that Trump is the best person to ease tensions between the two countries.
