Chinese smartphone and computer maker Lenovo officially launched its latest premium device, the Lenovo Phab 2 Plus, in the Indian market for the price of Rs. 14,999 (approximately $225.19). The smartphone will be exclusively available via Amazon India.

The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus smartphone is the successor to the original Phab Plus device that was launched in China with an AR (Augmented Reality) mode in its camera application. The phone was unveiled alongside the Lenovo Phab 2 and Lenovo Phab 2 Pro at the company's Tech World Event earlier this year.

The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus features a massive 6.4-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) display screen with 2.5D curved glass panel. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT8783 processor clocked at a speed of 1.3GHz, paired with MaliT720 GPU and 3GB RAM. It comes with a built-in 32GB of internal memory storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.

The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus sports a dual 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED Flash, laser auto focus, PDAF, Fujitsu Milbeaut ISPs, f/2.0 aperture, and 1.34-micron pixels. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with 1.4-micron pixels and f/2.2 aperture. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box, coupled with the company's latest Vibe UI skin. It is powered by a 4050mAh capacity battery inside.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, 4G LTE network support, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, supports a hybrid dual-SIM slot (Micro + Micro/microSD), fingerprint scanner, and weighs around 218 grams. The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus will be available in champagne gold and gunmetal gray color.
