The Milwaukee Bucks' Greg Monroe and Miami Heat's Hassan Whiteside are set to switch teams in a rumored blockbuster three-team trade with the Phoenix Suns that would include six players.

According to Inquisitr, the terms of the deal are as follows: Monroe, rookie power forward Dragan Bender, and a future first-round pick from the Bucks will go to Miami, Whiteside and point guard Eric Bledsoe will move to Milwaukee, while Jabari Parker and Rashad Vaughn will join Phoenix.

Miami is playing without any legitimate superstar for the first time in 13 seasons after Dwayne Wade left the team for the Chicago Bulls. Meanwhile, Chris Bosh has virtually ended his Heat career as he continues to struggle with his blood-clotting condition.

Right now, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra has Whiteside and Goran Dragic as the leaders of his team, and the duo has led them to a 2-6 record this season.

With the Heat most probably going nowhere this season, rumors have emerged that team is planning to go on a full rebuild and Whiteside is said to be Miami's number one trade asset at the moment.

Letting go of Whiteside to get valuable assets in return is a good first step for Miami. Monroe could be a temporary solution to their frontcourt while the rebuilding is taking place. Bender and the future draft pick are also important pieces to the future of the club.

Fansided reported that Monroe has improved his defense this season, which means that if the former Georgetown standout continues his metamorphosis, then he could also be a key part of Miami's transition.

The Bucks are set to boost their frontline should Whiteside end up joining them. They may lose two up-and-coming stars in Parker and Vaughn, but Whiteside's availability may be too good to pass up.

Meanwhile, the Suns are rumored to be looking to trade Bledsoe to clear the logjam in their backcourt with Devin Booker and Brandon Knight. Parker and Vaughn will ensure depth to their wing lineup as the two players could backup TJ Warren and Booker respectively.
