In a recent turn of events, after Phil Jackson recently criticized Lebron James during an ESPN interview, James shot back at the coach. His usage of the term posse for James's business associate has received widespread condemnation.
The comment, which has stirred up flames among the famed icons of the sport, came as a part of the ESPN interview that Jackson gave. He had commented: "You can't hold up the whole team because you and your mom and your posse want to spend an extra night in Cleveland."

The comments have been widely condemned as offensive with Jackson wanting to suggest that James had been receiving special treatment with concessions made for him without due excuse.
Jackson is supposed to have clearly used the term posse for James's friends and business associates like Maverick Carter and Carmelo Anthony. Both of them reacted to the comment as being racist and tweeted their responses.
Carter, in response, tweeted: "All the hard work, effort and achievement and @PhilJackson11still calls us a 'posse' every step you take they remind you, you ghetto."
Meanwhile, James said in an interview that he was certain that the comments were racist and showed the coach's contempt for their Afro-American background. James actually mentioned that he used to respect the coach for his contribution to Michael Jordan's career. But as for now, he no longer respects him.
