Chinese smartphone maker Vphone officially launched its latest rugged smartphone - the Vphone M3 smartphone - in China for the price of 812 Yuan or roughly equivalent to $119 (approximately Rs. 8,000 in India). The smartphone is available in Orange and Black color variants.

The Vphone M3 smartphone is the company's latest addition to their rugged devices, which are mostly carrying IP68 certification. According to Vphone, the smartphone is dustproof, waterproof, pressure proof, shockproof, high-temperature resistant, scratch proof, frost proof, and fire proof.

As for the specification, the Vphone M3 smartphone features a 5.0-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display screen. Under the hood, the device is powered by a MediaTek MT6735 processor, which is paired with 2GB of RAM onboard.  It comes equipped with a built-in 16GB of internal memory storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

On the camera side, the Vphone M3 sports a 13-megapixel high-definition rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, and LED flash support. Interestingly, the camera is capable of recording Full HD video at 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second. On the front is a 5-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calls. This smartphone is fueled by a massive 4,500mAh capacity battery inside, which is large enough for a phone to last for a long period of time without running out of juice.

Other features the Vphone M3 offers inlcude supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Dual SIM card slots, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth, EDGE, GPRS, FM-radio, and Micro USB v2.0 port connectivity. The sensor of this phone includes Accelerometer, Proximity, and Ambient light sensor.
