Selena Gomez delivered a powerful yet emotional speech at the American Music Awards 2016 as she grabbed the Favorite Female Artist for Rock and Pop title. Gomez' message is so powerful that it moved Lady Gaga.

The 24-year-old singer was making her triumphant come back from her first public appearance since August. She has been to rehab to deal with anxiety and depression stemming from an autoimmune disease called Lupus.

Gomez just honestly revealed how "absolute broken she was inside" and thankful to all her fans who are so loyal to her. She even said she does not know what did she do to deserve their loyalty.

"I have to say thank you so much to my fans, because you guys are so damn loyal, and I don't know what I did to deserve you," she said.

She might be broken for awhile but she refused to stay on that state as evident on her triumphant come back at the 2016 AMA awards.

"But if you are broken, you do not have to stay broken. That's one thing you should know about me - I care about people. And this is for you," the pop-star said.

Fellow performers applauded Gomez after delivering her powerful message. Lady Gaga even broke down in tears, while Taylor Swift shared a video wherein she yelled with pride as she watched her BFF on the TV.

Lady Gaga posted on her Instagram a photo of her and Gomez hugging each other with the caption: "So dope I got to hang with the biggest rockstar of the night. (Ya, know besides Sting and Green Day) ... the girl with the biggest prize of all a BIG Heart that she shares with the world."
