Oppo Announces its Upgraded Oppo F1s Smartphone in India at Rs. 18,990 (approximately $278.42 / 1,917.79 Yuan).

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo officially announced its upgraded model of the Oppo F1s smartphone in India for the price of Rs. 18,990 (approximately $278.42 / 1,917.79 Yuan). This upgraded variant of the device features a massive 4GB of RAM onboard, which is opposed to the 3GB in the earlier model. The device will be available in gray color variant.

In addition, the new Oppo F1s model also comes with a huge internal storage, which now stands at 64GB of ROM. It also has a triple-slot card tray that supports two nano 4G SIM cards and a microSD card. Interestingly, the Oppo F1s features a front-facing fingerprint sensor that will enable the users to assign up to five different fingerprints to different apps and contacts. The company also claimed that its latest fingerprint sensor recognizes users' fingerprint so fast that it could unlock the phone in just 0.22 seconds.

As for the overall specification of the device, the new Oppo F1s smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display screen. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by an octa-core MT6750 processor. As mentioned earlier, this new model is equipped with a massive 4GB of RAM onboard and a gigantic 64GB internal memory storage. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box, coupled with ColorOS 3.0 user interface laid on top of it.

On the photography side, the F1s sports an impressive 16-megapixel front facing camera with Beautify 4.0 and 1/3.1-inch customised sensor support. On the rear panel is a 13-megapixel camera. The handset is fueled by a 3,075 mAh battery inside.

The upgraded Oppo F1s smartphone will start selling by the end of November this year.
