‘Resident Evil 7: Biohazard’ Will Support Cross-Platform Save for PC, Xbox One

A handful of sneak peeks and teaser trailers have been building up the upcoming video game "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" to be one of the most terrifying titles of this generation. Recently, developer Capcom announced the game will support cross-platform save support for the Xbox One console and the PC platform.

The game's new cross-platform save feature will allow gamers to save the game on an Xbox One console and play it on the PC, and vice versa. This new feature was confirmed by Capcom after the feature was reported on a Japanese news outlet. Capcom said that all versions "Resident Evil 7" will have HDR Support, with PC and PlayStation 4 versions supporting 4K upscaling, according to Destructoid.
Capcom's most recent major video title release was "Street Fight V," and it supports PlayStation 4 and PC cross-platform gameplay. Capcom is yet to confirm whether the game will be released for the Xbox One console.
According to Digital Trends, Capcom is yet to confirm whether "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" will be released as part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program. As of this writing, 13 games are supported by this program which allows gamers to play titles on both the Xbox One and PC. The recently released "Gear of War 4" even supports cross-platform coop-mode which can be played between the PC and an Xbox One.
"Resident Evil 7" was revealed at this year's E3 conference. The game features timed virtual reality exclusive to the PlayStation VR. "Resident Evil 7" is expected to hit the shelves on Jan. 24, 2017. The game will be made available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
