Despite his initial announcement that he will marry his girlfriend Hannah Quinlivan in time for his 36th birthday on January 18 this coming year, Taiwanese superstar Jay Chou announced that their wedding could push through earlier than expected.
On a press conference for Mission Hills World Celebrity Pro-Am that Chou attended last September 14, he gave a hint that his wedding with his Australian-Taiwanese model girlfriend might be held earlier than planned, saying that there can't be any more delays.

He stated that he has delayed the release of his comeback album in order to make way for the wedding, saying, "I need to do something very significant in my life before I turn 36. Starting a family sounds pretty good."
On previous reports, Chou was said to have been wearing an engagement ring on his ring finger, however, he has clarified that the ring has been chosen for him by his stylist for the event that he attended when he was spotted with it.
"When it comes to rings, I don't care which finger they want me to wear it on," says the singer-actor.
Last August, Jay is said to have successfully made his marriage proposal to Quinlivan on her 21st birthday. The pair was said to have gone to Maldives with their family and ten other friends for the occasion.
Taipei media has also contacted Quinlivan about the matter, however she only stated that she had a lot of work lined up for her towards the end of the year and that her company will announce the wedding when it comes.
On a side note, Chou will be attending the Mission Hills World Celebrity Pro-Am golf tournament and as the ambassador for said event, the actor-singer will get his chance to compete in the sport with Hollywood stars like Chris Evans and Nicole Kidman who were scheduled to make an appearance at the event.
