Rumor has it that Hong Kong actor Ruco Chan's current love interest is 24-year old actress Katy Kung after the two were spotted together on alleged dates.

The TVB actor's love life seems to be under media scrutiny again with rumors surfacing that he is dating Kung. According to gossip reports, Chan has turned down an appearance at a Buddhist function in order to dine out with said actress.

Last September 9, the Chan and Kung were allegedly spotted having dinner at the hotpot restaurant with their friends, actors Matt Yeung and Jason Chan, and also Sarah Song who tagged along with the latter, for the mid-autumn festival.

According to reports, Kung addressed Chan as 'Pang Pang' which is said to be an affectionate nickname the actress had for the actor.

On the same evening, paparazzi were said to have gotten in to the restaurant which then caused a rather violent reaction on the part of the actor. Chan was said to have scolded the waiters in the restaurant for letting the reporters in.

Chan was allegedly furious at that time and according to accounts, after he finished his meal, he left with Kung in a hurry, surprising their friends for his sudden aggressive actions.

On previous reports, it was rumored that Chan developed feelings towards his 'All That is Bitter is Sweet' co-star Linda Cheung. Chan is said to have been pursuing Cheung for half a year since then, but the actress is said to be unable to let go of Philip Ng, who is her boyfriend of seven years.

Speculations say that Chan has turned his attention to Kung as she shared that same Chinese name as Cheung. Their affection towards each other is said to have developed when they filmed 'No Good Eitherway' together.

However, despite these claims, when Chan was asked if Kung was his girlfriend, he denied it, saying that he and the actress are only good friends.
