According to the Chinese-language report, China has already deployed weapons, including airborne early warning and control systems, the Shenyang Jian-11, the Chengdu Jian-10, and the Kongjing-500, in Tibet and the western region of Xinjiang. All are in place to carry out rotation deployment.

The report also revealed that the country has likely deployed some troops behind the launch of midrange ballistic missiles in Korla city in Xinjiang. It has also been sending out the J-10 and strategic bomber H-6K in Xinjiang's Hotan town.

The military build-up targets to widen its position of readiness in case the country is confronted with Indian troops, a source with knowledge about the matter said.

China's Shenyang J-11 was first manufactured in China in 1998. It is a two-engine fighter jet created to rival fourth-generation fighters like the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle and the Eurofighter Typhoon. The Chengdu J-10, on the one hand, is a lightweight fighter jet, while the KJ-500, on the other, carries an airborne early warning system.

Meanwhile, said on Monday that it hoped that India would "refrain from any action that might complicate the boundary question," as its response to the Tibetan spiritual leader, the 17th Karmapa, made his first visit to Arunachal Pradesh last week.

The Karmapa's visit was deemed significant as it was backed by the India government. Although China usually throws criticism on the Dalai Lama, it refrains from hitting the Karmapa. In fact, Karmapa's images are even displayed on some Chinese monasteries and are shared by his followers on Chinese social media, the India Today reported.
