Better check twice before taking any rash actions, this lesson was learnt by a Chinese man in a hard way who tried to kill his daughter as he was suspecting his wife of adultery and has now landed in jail.

24-year-old Yin Zhihe had tried to kill his 2-month-old daughter Yin Shengjie as he was suspecting that the baby girl was not his and he was undergoing fertility treatment during the period when his wife got pregnant.
On August 4, Yin had an argument with his wife Li Mingyang over the issue as he suspected that she was having an illicit affair. Li insisted that he should go for the DNA test of the baby if he has any doubts but in a fit of rage, he pierced a needle into the child's body.
The girl was taken to hospital where the doctors removed the needle and she was discharged from the hospital on August 11 after she had fully recovered.
However, Yin's rage hasn't settled down as yet and he brought more 4.5 cm long needles from the market and pierced three needles into the child's body on August 16 and 17 after which she was rushed to hospital. Doctors said that the needles that had pierced her liver and one kidney, had been removed and she is recovering well in the hospital.
But now, Yin is repenting his actions as the DNA tests have confirmed that he is the biological father of the girl.
Last Sunday, Yin surrendered before police after remaining absconding for more than one week and he has now been arrested by the police authorities on the charges of attempted murder.
On interrogations, Yin had admitted that he had tried to kill his daughter as he was suspecting that child was not his but after the DNA tests had proved him wrong, he is repenting his actions.
