A potential Nerlens Noel-Nikola Mirotic swap is swirling online at the moment as the Chicago Bulls are rumored to be searching for a better fit in their frontcourt lineup.

The Bulls are clearly guard-heavy right now with three of its main stars playing in the one and two positions, namely Dwyane Wade, Rajon Rondo, and Jimmy Butler. Chicago has Robin Lopez and Taj Gibson occupying the two other starting spots up front with Nikola Mirotic, the team's former starter at number four, relegated to the bench by head coach Fred Hoiberg this season.

The move has sparked rumors about Mirotic's ill-fit with the team's "Three Alphas", which has led to even more speculations that the 25-year-old Spaniard could be traded away soon.

Mirotic was generally utilized as a scorer last season. However, with Wade and Rondo also demanding the ball as much as Butler, he will not be getting the same touches he had last year if he is included in the starting five.

HNGN reported that a deal with the Philadelphia 76ers involving Nerlens Noel could be possible in or before the February trade deadline as the young center is reportedly "unhappy" with the logjam at his position in Philly.

Noel, who is still sidelined by the knee surgery he had last month, is set to share starting center duties with Joel Embiid and Jahlil Okafor when he comes back and it was reported that the former Kentucky standout is not okay with it.

Noel even told reporters prior to his surgery that he would be willing to get traded just to escape from the situation they have in Philadelphia.

Sportsrageous indicated that the Sixers may eventually "accommodate" Noel's wishes and the possibilities of him getting shipped are said to be increasing as the deadline draws nearer.

Noel is said to be a better fit in Chicago as the team's defensive anchor while Mirotic could revive his old scoring form with the Sixers as the starting power forward.
