The pilot of the Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 deliberately crashed the plane in an apparent suicide that resulted to his death and that of his passengers, an aviation expert claimed on Monday.
Kiwi Airlines head Ewan Wilson explained on Monday how the MH370 pilot, Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah, had locked himself inside the cockpit, depressurized the cabin and cut off all communication lines before leading the plane to plunged down the sea.

About 230 ill-fated passengers and crew members disappeared with the jetliner while on the way to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur on March 8.
Since then, several theories have emerged including sabotage, engine failure, even faulty air traffic control and terrorist attack to describe what happened to the vanished flight.
However, Wilson strongly believes that the 53-year-old pilot had committed suicide and had killed everyone onboard the flight by cutting off the oxygen supply.
After the oxygen inside the cabin has been cut off, oxygen masks would have automatically dropped down giving them oxygen supply which lasts for only 20 minutes.
Having three hours' worth of oxygen himself, Zaharie then maneuvered the plane to a dive at sea which may explain the reason for the lack of debris in the site where the jet's remains were found, Wilson explained.
According to Wilson, he came up with this scenario after deliberating "every conceivable alternative scenario" he can think of based on the reports about the downed flight.
"There is a fundamental desire to ignore the mental health issue in the aviation industry," he added claiming that Zaharie had been mentally unstable when he piloted MH370.
He then appealed to the aviation industry to ensure pilots and cabin crew members' psychologically healthy before allowing them to fly, citing five other similar suicides flights for the past three decades that had killed over 400 individuals including unknowing passengers.
