Angelea Preston, a contestant in America's Next Top Model All-Stars back in 2011, has come out after three years revealing the real reason why she was disqualified and removed from the contest.
She said that due to the fact that she was an escort, she was stripped of the crown she already basically won. Angelea told TMZ that the producers were unfair for snatching the crown from her after winning the contest fair and square.

Angelea told TMZ that she had worked as an escort for a year and that she told the producers of the show about it. Although she asked that the information be kept confidential, the news spread too quickly until everyone in the cast knew, including the models.
She also revealed that the show's director called after the finale was taped and she had won the grand prize, to tell her she was disqualified and couldn't win because she was an escort. Angelea insisted that she was a legal escort and was never a prostitute.
Angelea will be suing ANTM for US$3 million in damages.
Angelea was part of the Cycle 17 show. It was a shock for most of the fans and the viewers that she was disqualified.
No reason was given by Trya Banks or any of the judges. Rumors were spreading saying that Angelea got disqualified because she had announced ahead of time that she was the one who won. Lisa D'Amato, who was later declared winner of the cycle, said that this was not true at all.
Another rumor was that Angelea was pregnant, something that was dismissed immediately.
Being stripped of the crown cost Angelea a chance to be in a couple of Vogue spreads, and a US$100,000 CoverGirl deal.
