Dwayne Wade led the Chicago Bulls in a home win against his former team, the Miami Heat. The Bulls snatched a tightly contested win on Saturday night, 105-100.

Bulls advanced to 13-10, dropping the Heat to 7-17.

Jimmy Butler led the Bulls in points with 31, adding up seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Taj Gibson had 13 points and seven rebounds. Robin Lopez had four points and 10 rebounds. However, it was Wade's hustle in the third quarter that pushed the Bulls' offense in the third quarter. Wade closed the game with 28 points, three rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and a steal, according to NBA.com.

Heat center Hassan Whiteside was able to bounce back from his subpar performance against the Cavs on Friday with 20 points and eight rebounds. Goran Dragic recorded a double-double with 21 points, 11 assists, and five rebounds. Tyler Johnson had 15 points, three rebounds, and four assists. Josh Richardson had 11 points, three rebounds, and four assists.

Some tech analysts said that while Dragic and Whiteside continue to perform as expected for the Heat, it is noticeable that the team's core offensive firepower come from these two figures. The rest of the team failed to step up their game and handed over assistance to the two.

In a statement acquired by Sun Sentinel, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said, "We just ran out of timeouts. We went to our first set and it wasn't open. Then they fouled us and we had no timeouts, and had to run the same play."

The Heat will be hosting the Wizards on Tuesday, while the Bulls will travel to Minnesota on Wednesday.
