The Warriors, which suffered an embarrassing loss in the hands of the Memphis Grizzlies the other night, only scored 18 points in the third quarter, a factor that had them facing a 10-point deficit at the start of the fourth. However, the Warriors managed to their rhythm in the better part of the closing quarter.
Leading the Warriors' offense is Klay Thompson with 30 points, six rebounds, and two assists, according to ESPN. Kevin Durant had 22 points, eight rebounds, and five assists, while Stephen Curry had 22 points, four rebounds, and nine assists. Draymond was in excellent form with 18 points with a 5-of-8 shooting from the three-point area.
When asked about his team's late game rally, Green said, "We played a great 12 minutes, inspired by our second unit who played 9 of those 12 minutes. And that's what gave us this win."
Banking in on the Warriors' lack of a defensive bigman, the Timberwolves was anchored by Karl-Anthony Towns with 25 points and 18 rebounds, according to NBA.com. Andrew Wiggins added had 25 points, five rebounds, and two assists. Zach Lavine had 25 points and posted a 5-of-9 shooting in the three-point area.
The Warriors will be visiting the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday, while the Timberwolves will fly to Chicago on the same day.
