Forbes recently revealed that 'Captain America' actor Chris Evans is the most profitable celebrity in Hollywood.

The 35-year old Captain America star whose latest Marvel film made more than $1 billion worldwide tops the Forbes list for the second time in a row. He is said to bring back more than $135 for every $1 that he is paid. Evans, who first started acting when he was in his teens was first paid $300,000 to star in the first Captain America film and was later reported to have earned a whopping $6.9 million to star in the blockbuster hit 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'.

Fellow Marvel superhero actor, Chris Pratt took second place even though he had starred in relatively low-paid roles in films like Guardians of The Galaxy and Jurrasic World, the actor is reported to bring back $125 for every $1 he is paid. His upcoming film 'Passengers' which he stars in alongside Jennifer Lawrence will be his biggest box office appeal because the film is said to have cost $120 million to make.

The list comes after Forbes released their top most overpaid actors list, Johnny Depp took the number one spot for the second year in a row while Will Smith, Channing Tatum, George Clooney and comedian Will Ferrell rounded up the top five.
