The National Football League's (NFL) Philadelphia Eagles steal one on the road against the Indianapolis Colts, with running back Darren Sproles leading the way. Eagles won the game, 30-27.

Since last week, Sproles was the spark that ignited the Eagles' 34 point resurgence in the second half against the Jacksonville Jaguars, running 49 yards for a touchdown.

The Eagles drew first blood in the first quarter with a 31-yard field goal, but Andrew Luck and the Colts wouldn't take things lying down.

Their offense fought back and, after two quarters, put their team ahead of the Eagles, 17-6.

Things were looking bleak for the Eagles in the third, with the Colts having scored another field goal to extend the deficit to 14 points.

However, LeSean McCoy started the Eagles comeback with a touchdown up the middle and an extra point as well.

When the ball returned to the Colts, their running back Trent Richardson fumbled the ball and it was recovered by the Eagles.

Five plays later, a no-huddle, shotgun formation set up Sproles for the 19-yard touchdown right up the middle.

In the fourth quarter, Sproles would take a short toss from quarterback Nick Foles and run 57 yards for the game-equalizing touchdown. A final field goal gave the Eagles the win.

Sproles' teammates made up for his soft-spoken nature by talking about him after the game.

McCoy said that without Sproles, they would have been in trouble. "When guys are struggling, he's picking everybody up," he said.

The Eagles got Sproles at a trade with the New Orleans Saints. Head Coach Chip Kelly calls Sproles a complete running back, with the ability to run, catch, and run all over the field.

Sproles summed it up well when he said, "I'm all-purpose."
