After issuing an apology for allegedly accidentally injuring his four-year-old son, Adrian Peterson faces yet another issue involving his other four-year-old child. In a report from KHOU-TV in Houston revealed that the Minnesota Vikings running back is once again the center of another child abuse incident involving his other son. Both sons allegedly incurred the injuries as results of Peterson's disciplinarian child rearing beliefs.

After being charged on Friday with a child injury case in Texas, the Child Protective Services recently received another child injury report involving the NFL player. The child involved in this subsequent issue is Peterson's four-year-old son with another woman. The report was filed to the agency by the child's mother.

Utilizing the text messages and pictures reportedly sent by Peterson himself to the child's mother, the four-year-old was described to have incurred a scar over his right eye. The injury was said to have been acquired during an event in June 2013.

In a report from TMZ, authorities have not filed charges against the running back in connection with this subsequently raised incident. In addition, a source described by the program as "close to the investigation" revealed that Peterson did not commit anything that could be deemed to fall under the classification of child abuse. Hence, officials alerted of this incident declared that the punishment applied by Peterson to his other son was "not impermissible".

In response to the allegations that could have been inferred by the public from the KHOU-TV report, Rusty Hardin, the lawyer of Peterson, issued a response via ESPN.

"The allegation of another investigation into Adrian Peterson is simply not true. The allegation is more than one year old and authorities took no action. An adult witness admittedly insists Adrian did nothing inappropriate with his son," the athlete's attorney asserted.

After having been sidelined from the most recent game of the Vikings due to his indictment, Peterson has been reinstated on Monday.
