While a handful of initial analyses of the recent Golden State Warriors and Utah Jazz game claimed that it will be a tough match, the Warriors showed why they are one of the best teams in the league after the blowout win, 104-74.

The Warriors displayed an impressive defense by limiting the Jazz to a 35.5 percent field goal percentage and 30 percent on the three-point area, according to NBA.com. The Warriors also outrebounded the Jazz, 50 to 44.

As for the Jazz, the team was severely undermanned with George Hill and Derrick Favors on the sideline. According to CBS Sports, Rodney Hood did not score a single point and played just 10 minutes due to gastric distress, which forced him to visit the restroom more often than the others.

Leading the Warriors was Stephen Curry with 25 points, three rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Kevin Durant had 22 points, five rebounds, and an assist. Draymond Green had 15 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and five steals. Klay Thompson had 17 points and five rebounds.

It is also important to note that Green picked up his sixth technical foul after he performed a chinup on the basketball rim after a dunk. While this did not affect the Warriors' gameplay in any way, Green might be in trouble of reaching the 16-technical foul threshold of the league.

As for the Jazz, the team's offense was led by Rudy Gobert with 11 pints and 16 rebounds. Off the bench, Joe Johnson has 14 pints and two rebounds. Joe Ingles and Trey Lyles had 11 points each.

The Warriors will be visiting the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday, while the Jazz will host the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.
