Fifth Harmony may be a quartet now but they refuse to back down from claims made by their former member, Camilla Cabello.
The band recently released a statement about Cabello's exit from the girl group.
"We know that you are hurt and confused, we are too." The group said in an open letter that was posted across all their social media accounts. "We know that you guys want answers and you deserve them, you are just as much part of this group as the four of us are."

The statement that was released then went on to explain what made Cabello leave the group.
"We have spent the past year and a half since Camilla's first solo endeavour, to try and communicate with her and her team about all of the reasons why we felt Fifth Harmony deserved at least one more album with her of her time," their joint statement said. "In mid-November, we were Camilla's manager informed use that she was leaving the group informed and at that time we were also informed that her final performance with Fifth Harmony would be December 18th. We were truly hurt, we have tried to even go on group counselling to fix whatever issues we have in the group but Camilla had refused to go to any of those counselling sessions, she had also refused to go to any meetings that were set up by our label and management"
Camilla has since defended herself saying that the claims that were made in the statement were completely false.
