Microsoft is set to launch an Xbox controller built specifically for Windows-based computers, specifically with Windows 7 and Windows 8.
This is an addition for PC gamers that want to play specific games using a gamepad. The new controller will be a most compatible tool to do this.

The Xbox controller for Windows is distinct from the original in one very obvious respect: the long USB cable that stems from it to connect to a PC or tablet. It's still compatible with the Xbox and users can connect it to the console either using the cable or wirelessly.
The Xbox controller features infrared LEDs that can be sensed by the Kinect, and it'll work with other Xbox gear, including the Charge Kit or Chat Headset.
Also, it has a redesigned thumbsticks and an all new D-pad to provide greater precision and responsiveness to both sweeping and directional movements. The ergonomic design has grips and contours to fit the gamer's hand more comfortably.
The new Xbox controller will work as long as the device has a powered USB port.
Microsoft said it will release the device in November with a selling price of US$59.95.
The company is also releasing a new Universal Mobile Keyboard for all operating systems; limited edition designs of Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 and an Arc Mouse with Bluetooth 4.0 technology.
