The Denver Nuggets is now "openly shopping" Jusuf Nurkic while veterans Kenneth Faried, Danilo Gallinari, and Wilson Chandler are all available for trades, according to latest NBA trade rumors.

Nurkic, 22, has gone from starting center to backup after 25 games this season. The Bosnian big man's minutes have expectedly dropped as a result and earlier reports have emerged that he has become unhappy about his new role.

"For sure, it's tough," he said. "I'm 22 years old. I'm not here to sit on the bench. I'm here to play basketball. And it's a tough decision for me, from a starting spot and 20 minutes to four straight (games of not playing). You control what you control, and I let my agent do the rest of the stuff."

Nurkic vowed to still "work every day hard and be professional" as what is expected of him as a basketball player in spite of what had recently transpired.

However, ESPN's Marc Stein reported that the Nuggets are "openly shopping" him and could use the 16th overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft as one of the pieces to include in the club's offer to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for power forward Paul Millsap. Denver is said to be "one of the teams full engaged" in trying to acquire Millsap.

Stein also noted that veterans Faried, Gallinari, and Chandler are "assumed" available as well as the Nuggets are speculated to be in the midst of a total roster rebuild.

There are rumors that Denver could package one or two of their veterans with Nurkic to potentially sign a superstar player, but Fansided indicated that a deal with the Hawks for Millsap would be "pretty unlikely" as latest reports say that Atlanta is looking for young players and future draft picks in order for them to let go of the three-time NBA All-Star.

The report continued that if Millsap would be unavailable then the Nuggets "will likely be forced to look elsewhere".
