Lenovo P2 Smartphone Officially Launched in India at Rs. 16,999

Chinese smartphone and computer manufacturer Lenovo officially launched its newest device - the Lenovo P2 smartphone - in India for the price of Rs. 16,999 ($249). The phone will be exclusively available via Flipkart.com in Champagne Gold and Graphite Grey color variants.

The Lenovo P2 smartphone has been launched in the country in two memory variants - 3GB of RAM version at Rs. 16,999 ($249) and 4GB of RAM at around Rs. 17,999 ($263).
In terms of specifications, the Lenovo P2 smartphone features a metallic unibody design. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display screen with 2.5D Gorilla Glass. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 processor clocked at a speed of 2GHz. As mentioned earlier, the handset is available in 3GB and 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM onboard.
On the camera department, the Lenovo P2 sports a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with a Sony IMX258 sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. The phone is packed with a built-in 32GB of internal memory storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a dedicated via microSD card slot. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box.
Powering the handset is a 5,100mAh capacity battery. Lenovo has claimed that the device could last up to 18 hours of continuous video playback. The company also equipped the handset with the latest fast charging technology, which is 30 percent faster than Quick Charge 3.0.
Other features the Lenovo P2 offers include 4G LTE, dual-SIM (Nano-SIM), Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and FM radio. The device measures a body dimension of 153 x 76 x 8.2 mm.
