Coolpad has unveiled the Coolpad Conjr smartphone at the recently concluded Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas. The device is expected to debut in India this month for the price of $180 (approximately Rs.12,298.50). It will be available in Gold and Gray color options.

The Coolpad Conjr smartphone comes with a unibody design. It features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved glass display screen. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735CP 64-bit processor clocked at speed of 1GHz, along with Mali-T720 GPU for graphics. It comes equipped with a massive 3GB of RAM onboard and a built-in 16GB of internal memory storage, which can be further expandable up to 64GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

On the photography department, the Coolpad Conjr sports a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with Optical Image Stabilisation, f/2.2 aperture, and LED Flash support. On the front is an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture and LED Flash. Interestingly, the phone features cutting-edge optical stabilization and noise reduction technology to ensure sharp and crisp captured images.

Powering the Coolpad Conjr smartphone is a non-removable Li-ion 2,500mAh capacity battery. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box, coupled with Coolpad's latest customized Cool UI 8.0 user interface laid on top. Other features the new Coolpad Conjr offers include Fingerprint sensor, 4G LTE network, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB v2.0, and GPS.

Meanwhile, the smartphone is currently available for pre-order in the United States via Amazon and Newegg.com.
